Before I learned meditation, I was a bitter and angry Nihilist. I was proudly cynical about everyone and everything in the world.
My family was very dysfunctional and I grew up there. My father was absent and my mother was not around.-She was so stressed and worked that she was always having meltdowns. Nobody but me could help her.
It didn’t help that I was a sensitive, artistic kid who played the flute and sang opera, which in the rough Australian school I went to led to constant beatings and bullying. I had zero interest in girls, and at an early stage I was suffering from intense social anxiety.
“The world is fucked”
“Hot girls are shallow idiots”
“Life is meaningless struggle and everyone is out for themselves”
I was an outcast and on a track to burrowing deeper and deeper into my negativity, stopping me from connecting with anyone who didn’t feel the same way. The only girls I had was average hippy chicks, who were willing to listen to my rants on how the world was. ‘out to get me’.
All of my High School friends were heading to University. I decided to try to figure out why I was so angry, nihilistic, and to find a solution.
I was offered a job at a plantation in rural Australia picking oranges. After that, I saved enough money to travel around Asia with my friend to seek out answers.
We ended up taking whole slew of magic mushrooms from Bali in one night and tripping for the next two days. As I soared through the psychedelic cosmos I got a glimpse into a different part of myself, the version of me that didn’t have all of the negativity and narcissism. I felt free, happy, lighthearted, and in total creative flow.
As I came home from the trip, hours later I felt all my old worries and hang-ups return. It was clear that my pride, ego and negativity had all returned and I was back at square one. I thought to my self;
There HAS to have a way.
You can do it without the use of drugs.
I traveled on to India to continue my spiritual journey. I found my way to Dharamsala to meet the Dalai Lama and attended my first Vipassana Course, a 10 day course. Meditation It was a retreat that transformed my life. It was there I discovered the tools to help shift my destiny.
Vipassana’s core practice is to use your awareness to scan your body and notice both good and negative sensations. While accepting that they are constantly changing, it allows you to accept the fact that they are always changing.
This key insight helped me realize that I could shift my focus and awareness.
That I wasn’t a slave to the quirky personality traits I didn’t like, that I didn’t have to be angry and reactive, constantly succumbing to bouts of depression…
I came away feeling light, bright and perhaps for the first-time ever actually happy. I found the tools to change and a way to get out of the endless negative loops that I had lived in.
Even though I was a broke naïve 19 year old fumbling his way across India, I knew this was the beginning of a powerful journey.
Now I knew it was possible to make a man aware of his negative traits, cynicisms, sarcasm and even crippling. ‘approach anxiety’, all of these things that don’t actually help you in any way and just show you that you’re less capable and connected to people…
I knew that it was possible for a man to shift himself without spending months and years on a psychologist’s couch, recounting his childhood, mapping out how everyone else is to blame and turning himself into a victim…
It was possible for men to take responsibility for their lives and have the confidence to approach women and be who they really are.

After my first meditation retreat, everything I could do to increase my awareness and understanding of these key tools was a success.
I decided to become vegetarian after meeting Shaolin Kung Fu Martial Arts instructor.-I did 5 hours of training per day, six days a week. The rest of my time was spent meditating or working in a cafe to make ends meet.
I took my first trip to China where I was accepted by the world’s greatest masters of Kung Fu and Buddhism at the Shaolin Temple.
I woke up each morning at dawn, would climb the mountain to the temple with my master, and then work on ancient forms Kung Fu, meditation, and philosophy.

My peers in my generation were outchasing girls, driving fast cars and getting lost, but I became a monk and dedicated myself to spiritual growth.
As my interest in eastern practices increased, I became more interested in healing and studying oriental massage, acupuncture, and Chinese medicine. The intense focus and discipline I had during this time was so beneficial. It helped me to release more layers of childhood conditioning and taught me how to relax, feel peaceful, and find satisfaction.
However, being so strict about my practice meant that I was missing out on many of the world’s pleasures. I was torn between my call to be a full-time spiritual warrior and my desire to chase girls and attain worldly success.
After my first trip to China, I realized that I wanted to see the whole world before I made the decision to move permanently there and become a monk. To indulge in pleasure, sex, and satisfy all my fantasies. For a while, I was a total hedonist, swinging in the opposite direction.
Even though I was at the Shaolin Temple studying the art form, I wanted to leave my world and get my desires fulfilled. I moved to Melbourne, fell into a funk, began using drugs and alcohol, and finally got into seduction in order to get more women.
Now I’ve always been someone of extremes,
wanting to test my limits and push the boundaries…
My progress was incredible once I began to approach women.
Within months I’d gone from zero cold approach experience, to being able to pick up hot women every time I went out.
Although I was quickly learning about the mechanics of natural seduction techniques, my meditation background was what made my progress so rapid. All those hours practicing inner peace, had without realizing – taught me how to become very present, relaxed and in the moment when meeting women.
Even though I felt the anxiety-inducing physical sensations most men associate with anxiety, I was able, using my meditation tools, to release these feelings, move through them, and finally rewire my mind to feel excitement and positive anticipation.
I was so skilled at seduction that I decided to teach men I met how they could meet women naturally.
The Natural Lifestyles was my first venture and I began coaching men on the art of seduction. I was able get some basic results by showing them how to flirt and approach me.
But it didn’t take long to realize that there were deeper issues at stake to do with worthiness, self esteem and being logical. Just like me before meditation, the average man was so stuck in his head that he couldn’t think of anything to say to the girls he was approaching!
I realized very quickly that I needed to create a way for them to learn the things I had learned through my meditation years. These men would be able to absorb these crucial teachings without needing to do kung fu.-fu, meditating, and living an aesthetic lifestyle in a temple of China.
