My journey to 6 Figures
Hi, I’m Hugo Fernandez.
I know what it’s like to start with nothing, have very few – if any – options, and yet still make 6 figures, because that’s exactly what I did!
The truth is, even though we were raised in a loving, caring family, our household had very little financial resources. We were a family of 6 We lived well below the poverty level as children growing up in the US. My dad didn’t make it past third grade. He never earned more than $14/hr.
Our family and friends didn’t make more than $30k per year. I was a Mexican candy seller, selling Mexican candy out my backpack to pay school supplies. Also, I sold tamales doortodoor after school to help my parents.
My mom and I waited in line at the food bank. I was given free lunches and clothes to school.
We struggled so much because of our lack of money. My mother and I were undocumented immigrants when we immigrated to America from Mexico at the age of 4.
My family moved 14 times before I graduated high school. We were looking for better opportunities and cheaper rent.
The blueprint society had for everyone else – go to school, get a degree, get a good job, buy a home, retire when you’re 65 – simply wasn’t available to me due to my legal status. But the blueprint my parents had – work ridiculously hard and wish for the best – wasn’t working out that well for me either!
I was aware of it Had To be another way…
Since I was 15 years old, I worked full-time in manual labor and earned a few commissions.-I was unable to find any better sales jobs so I quit my job and started my own company in 2012.
The majority of people drink on their 21st birthday.
I was at home, so I used Google to do some research. “How to start a business.”
This was the catalyst for me to found Just Digital Inc., one of the most highly rated digital marketing agencies Los Angeles.
I was earning $10k/month by 24. At 25 I was my first. 6 Figures for a full-year ($143,412 sales, $124.399 gross profit, according to my tax returns).
Since then my life has radically improved, not because of the money I make, but because of the person I’ve become in the process.
