What’s new in the fourth edition?
This fourth edition contains updated guidelines and revisions, as well as clarifications. We conducted one large survey for the fourth edition.-scale lab-Based usability study. To update and improve each of the 11 topical Ecommerce reports, researchers conducted smaller, more focused research studies. Discussions and new findings include mobile usability and omnichannel strategies, live chat best practice, streamlined shopping cart checkout, expectations for product pages as well as product information.
Research Method
These reports include information based upon three different rounds of ecommerce studies:
- One-On-One usability test
- Diary-Lunge-based longitudinal study in which people record their online experiences
- Eyetracking
Representative users There are 255 online shopping websites. The studies were done in the United States, United Kingdom and China (Hong Kong).
