- “We don’t have an email list and don’t know how to start building one.”
- “We don’t know how to write emails that actually work.”
- “We’re the Marketing team, but we’d need Engineering to figure who gets what email when, and they’re too busy building product.”
- “We’re the Engineering team, but we’d need Marketing to write these emails, and they’re too busy doing… what do marketers actually do, anyhow?!”
- “We don’t know how to measure the ROI on our email campaigns.”
You can try to get past these issues by just trying to get through them. This works for some people. It may work for you. Great! This page is closed. Now, get back to the implementation. Do you have to hire a consultant? Yes*. Why the asterix? You need to first find a competent consultant. You must then convince them to partner with you. You will be most interested in hiring people who are a) in high demand, b) booked months ahead, and c), can charge what they like.
What effect would constrained supply and crushing demand have on prices? Yeah, Just what it says. A consulting client once asked me to quote $20,000 for a project. I said yes, and they were serious. This is the crazy market right now.
(There are many people who charge more than I do, but it is true. It is very reasonable for businesses to pay whatever price sticker has, as there are many well-informed customers.-Executed lifecycle email campaigns may generate revenue Send $200 in sales emails.)

[Click here] to switch today.”
Business logic:
- Cash flow is improved when customers are paid now, especially for companies that have high customer acquisition costs.
- Customers can switch to annual billing Churn dramatically dropsSaaS businesses have faced many risks over the years.-term.
- Customers love to be treated with special attention.
Do the math. It is possible to assume that only 1% to 2% customers will switch to annual billing. With annual billing, you’d receive 1% Ordinary execution (“Let’s put annual billing as an offer on our pricing page”). Imagine if you could Smart execution (“Let’s pitch annual billing as an exclusive benefit to only our most loyal customers, who we already know are the ones getting the most value from the software, such that a 11x increase in upfront costs doesn’t matter to them.”) 10% conversion. Bam.
$200 in revenue per email sent. One campaign. This took 30 minutes to put into practice.
